The First and The Last

It is bittersweet that I am writing of my grandma's passing.
We all LOVED my grandma
Lula Landon (1919 - 2009). The picture below is of the one and only time she was able to see our little Landon. I am happy that she is with her sweetheart Ace but my grandma to me was more than just a relative she was my friend. Today I thought about how I will not be able to call her anymore and that breaks my heart. We talked on the phone weekly and I loved jto be able to hear her voice. I also know because of the gospel of Jesus Christ she will be received with open arms by a loving Father in Heaven. I wish it could be with happier times that it brings my family closer together but I am truly grateful that I will be able to be wrapped in their loving arms during my time of sadness.

On a side note it will be 110 degrees or more while in St. George. We will melt and I am sure Landon will not know what to do with himself.

Oh I am so sorry to hear of your grandma's passing. How blessed you are to have such a sweet relationship with her! Thank you for your testimony! Is Landon named after her? (the family name anyway...?)
Big HUGS to you!!!
