April Antics

Another month has passed into the record books. We spent a lot of April weekends on the road with meets and other fun.

Eliza discovered the photo apps on Mom's phone.

We took a road trip to Colorado for Landon's Regional meet.

The girls had fun on more outings.

Eliza adjusted to having Mom teach her at school. Ugh!

The kids and their teams took their annual pictures.

We celebrated Mike's birthday with a fancy new bike!

Eliza triumphed at the Mardi Gras meet.

Lily enjoyed her own birthday treat!

The local Smith's invited the neighbors to collect Easter candy.

Eliza made out like a bandit.

Her team took first place at Academy West.

Hallie continued to learn the ropes as a paraprofessional.

Girls fun time!

Beautiful spring rainbows brightened our afternoons.

Eliza and her classmates learned science concepts.

We got prepped for her upcoming baptism. Mike even made a slideshow!

Preview of fancy pics from the photo shoot.

Meet hair, don't care. Eliza fancied up for her baptism invitation photo shoot.

Typical Sunday morning.

Taking time to smell the flowers. They'll be gone before we know it!

March Moved Like Mad!

So, forasmuch as we love this labor of love that is the blog, it is labor. With the other forms of social media we are using to share our goings on with family and friends, we've chosen to repurpose this venue (for as long as it lasts -- Then again, does anything truly die on the Internet?). We're going to post pictures with captions (and occasional paragraphs) on a monthly basis moving forward.

With that, on to the pics! Mike and Hallie got new phones in March, and we have consolidated our photo storage. Hopefully this means all the photos we have taken show up in one place.
Eliza did well at the St. George meet

Landon outdid the competition as well!

Girls' day with Coach Marissa and Sarah at the Pac12 Championships at the Maverick Center

Look at these lovely ladies!

Eliza has real talent on the ukelele; however, she has a lot going on, so we had to set this facet of her life on the back burner for a bit.

Warmer weather meant spring outings with Lily!

Here we are at Dutch's farm near our house. Eliza was a careful, if sometimes jealous, "big sister."

Ice cream makes everything awesome!
