2020, November 23-29

Thanksgiving week meant fewer school days and more free time. We gave thanks at home and prepared for the Yuletide. Bring on Christmas!

Eliza is ever the studious one (when she wants to be).

Here are the products of her efforts.

Eliza's friend Lexi made these fun turkey-themed hair barrettes.

Mom got some fancy holiday-themed accessorizing too.

Landon's still able to sit on Dad's lap while he tells some story or shares some funny video. Adorable!

Eliza has graduated to blowing bubbles within bubbles. Astounding!

When Lily came over to visit on Wednesday, she got her turkey hair pin too. Twinners!

Landon got a new 'do. Looks sharp, boy!

This is all we had for Thanksgiving. Kidding! The turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and veggies were all delicious. The caramel apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake squares from The Heirloom Peach provided the perfect finishing touch.

And leftover pie for breakfast is simply the best 😋 .

Eliza got all into decorating the Christmas tree with our neighbor Hannah. Not too shabby!
