Yet another eventful week for the intrepid Owens. Apparently it was so eventful that we didn't manage to take many photos.
Here is Lily crashing on Monday. Hallie is such entertaining babysitter that she fell asleep right in front of Hallie at the gym. Lily took a couple of naps while in our care this week. On Wednesday, she fell asleep while driving to Grandpa and Grandma M's house and so she missed seeing their new landscaping in the backyard. Eliza and Hallie woke her in time to go visit a boutique in Mapleton.
We got another phone call from Landon's school saying someone else tested positive for C-19. He was none too happy. As a small consolation, our neighbor Tiffany baked him a plate of brownies, and he drowned his sorrows in sweet chocolate chewiness. He ate all five by himself!!!!
Eliza is learning division in school. This technique is a bit different than long division, so Dad is getting an education of his own.
Landon, also did school at home for most of the week. Here's a sample of what that looked like. Dad was able to teach Landon a mental math trick or two to make it a bit easier.
Eliza, our resident graffiti artist, struck again. We love our artist now if she would just clean up her mess.
Saturday was a great lazy day around the house, which was needed by some. Hallie didn't wake until almost 9:00 a.m. and even took a nap in the middle of the day. Eliza did a great job wrapping Christmas presents that we need to mail. Hallie is going to keep Eliza on hand to do the chore Hallie does not like to do.
She is also our resident avant garde hairstylist. Aren't we lucky? Hallie asked her to braid a bit at the top and that didn't quite go as planned. Oh well, practice makes perfect, right?
