The kids behaved like acrobats this week.
Landon came home from gymnastics one night pumped about all of the different things the boys could do with their strength. In this picture Landon was doing a push up hand stand. He completed one full one by the time Hallie got to film it. We are impressed!
One of Mike's students got him this cool sugar skull sticker. We added it to the family laptop. Mike, Hallie, and Eliza are big fans of sugar skull art. It is a fun thing to enjoy together.
The girls went to Pogo's, a chicken and pizza restaurant, on their way back from appointments in Salt Lake. Pogo's is a new restaurant that had their grand opening on Friday, and the family that started it is from Zimbabwe.
Eliza and her friends went over to visit the animals down the block. Eliza clearly feels very much at home around them. One day we hope to meet the owners who we know are locals of Springville/Mapleton. Eliza has loved befriending these donkeys.
Landon celebrated his birthday with friends at the movies on Saturday. A couple of them left before we got the picture taken, but everyone seemed to enjoy the movie, Eternals.
In the evening, Hallie went out to eat with friends. Her friend Julie's dad painted these fun paintings.
Hallie watched Julie tell us the stories of each of the paintings and how proud she is of her dad. It was a priceless time.
This one is title The End. There are several meanings behind that title, and Hallie loves this picture.
If you had a sharp eye, you could see the moon and Venus together on Sunday night.
