Playing a bit of catch-up here. We went on an overnight trip for the first time in a while. Looking forward to more trips in the future!
We celebrated Mike's birthday early in the week with a sign out front (that unexpected wind and light rain blew away by the evening! Sad).
We also enjoyed dinner at Magelby's. Landon enjoyed his first shrimp cocktail.
He also doesn't seem to know how to use Mike's phone to take pictures.
When we got home, he opened more gifts. Yay, LEGO! The Apollo 11 Lander.
Also, heartfelt appreciation from the kiddies.
And the kitty.
The unsettled weather continued into the week, with snow getting down into the foothills. We'll happily take the water. Eliza had a couple of extra riding lessons this week to make up for a couple missed earlier in the month. Lily got to come along in the chill.
Mike got another belated LEGO birthday gift in the mail, this time a huge treehouse!
We bought a new table for the dining room as part of our spring sprucing up of the downstairs. Today Jake (the builder and Lily's dad) delivered it.
We planned a birthday trip to Park City for the weekend a little while back. Sadly, Hallie began to feel ill right before we went up on Saturday, throwing up Friday night into Saturday morning. Nonetheless, she powered through the day, and we had a good time wandering up and down Main Street and just enjoying the sun and each other. The kids always love a night's stay in a hotel.
