Hallie's illness from the weekend turned into Landon's and then Mike's illness this week. We soldiered on.
Eliza showed off for Granny O some funs socks she got at Sock City in Park City.

Playing a bit of catch-up here. We went on an overnight trip for the first time in a while. Looking forward to more trips in the future!
We celebrated Mike's birthday early in the week with a sign out front (that unexpected wind and light rain blew away by the evening! Sad).
We planned a birthday trip to Park City for the weekend a little while back. Sadly, Hallie began to feel ill right before we went up on Saturday, throwing up Friday night into Saturday morning. Nonetheless, she powered through the day, and we had a good time wandering up and down Main Street and just enjoying the sun and each other. The kids always love a night's stay in a hotel.
Spring break did not last long enough, but at least we had fun and the weather cooperated.
Hallie took Eliza and Lily to a Paw Patrol activity at the library. We do enjoy our library! Hallie doesn't get to hear Eliza read often, so it was fun for her to catch this moment of Eliza reading to Lily.
The month of March has come and gone, spring is in full swing, and spring break is on the horizon. In fact, it started early for us with a visit from cousins!
Fergus is a cuddle bug. He also may have gotten into another fight. Time will tell if he starts acting injured.
For a school art project a little bit back, apparently Mom made a family tree. Cute!
We had a spring break visit from Aunt Elise and our cousins this week. On Wednesday we went to This is the Place Heritage Park, which has undergone quite a bit of updating even since our last visit.
Eliza learned about Utah's tribal peoples.
We saw some day-old baby lambs.
We saw the blacksmith practicing his craft and bought some metalwork.
Afterwards, the kids went to the construction zone at Temple Square.
Lily braided Eliza's hair not once, but twice this week. Very fancy!
Eliza still had school, so we did a bit of a nature walk to break things up. The bulbs are in bloom.
We did an early Easter on Saturday, complete with an egg hunt.
We enjoyed a quiet Sunday at home. Eliza even picked Mom some flowers.
