2021, February 8-14

We end another week of meet season with some of us at home and others on the road. Landon had an accident at practice and missed a local meet (and hopefully not much more), and Eliza had another meet in Arizona.

Eliza celebrated her birthday. So crazy that she's already so old. Where'd our baby go? Many thanks to our neighbor Julie for making delicious cupcakes!

The birthday girl has been working on fractions. Here she has made the ideal sundae.

Eliza got this fun doll from her Primary teacher.

And she got this card from Lily!

Presents!

Hallie got her second Covid shot. She wore these band-aids to make it hurt just a little less and have some style. ;)

And of course, there was art to be made. Eliza made a Hawaiian princess.

Dad made flags after hearing that a bill is moving through the Utah legislature seeking to make a commemorative flag task force. If there's a public call for designs, he'll be ready!

On Thursday, Hallie and Eliza headed out to Arizona with Adi and her mom from gym.

When Mike went to pick Landon up from gym on Thursday evening, he noticed that Landon had a brace on his knee. Apparently he injured himself during conditioning. This meant no meet on Saturday and a visit to the doctor on Friday. He got X-rays, and he'll need an MRI next week.

Leg rest and TV time are the order of the day. The boys binge-watched Monty Python and The Orville over the weekend.
