Another travel week for gymnastics and a lot of hype over a big game that wasn't.
Mike took Fergus to the vet on Monday. He got a clean bill of health except for a bite to his butt, so now he wears a cone of shame.
Eliza worked on poetry this week as part of school. Here is an acrostic word poem she did.
In the absence of regular Primary, Eliza's teachers have brought lessons home to her. Thanks, Sisters!
When he doesn't bite at his behind, he gets to avoid the cone.
At the end of the week, it was time for people to get ready for their meets! Hallie and Landon flew out to Dallas, TX, for the WOGA meet, and Eliza had her meet here in Utah. Mike had to teach class, so he couldn't take her, but the ladies at our gym rallied around her for us. We love our coaches, moms, and teammates!
Because she missed some of her school work on Friday, we spent Saturday morning doing school before Mike and Eliza went up to BYU so he could teach his class while she hung out in the office.
We had to leave Ferg like this for most of the day. Poor kitty.
When chatting with Mom, we like to have a little fun. Eliza showed Dad some funny filters.
This is the real deal. He's tired after not a great night's sleep.
Go, Cougs!
Landon competed on Saturday. Then it was lounge time in the hotel room.
Oh, and ice cream sandwiches too!
Sunday we spent time at home or in hotel. Mike and Eliza went over to Grandma and Grandpa M.'s for fun, food, and football. Once again, the "Super" Bowl proved to be a lopsided meh of a game.
