2020, September 28-October 4

Another week has come and gone as we press into October!

Hallie, Eliza, and Lily went to Chipotle for dinner after a doctor's appointment this week. They brought the food back to the gym and had a picnic in Coach Sarah's office.

When Eliza got lunch from school during the week, she brought home a gift for Hallie from her former coworkers. It was very touching! Thank you, Westside!

We have had some beautiful sunsets over the past few weeks. Hallie managed to get one on the way home from horseback riding.

Landon has gotten to a point with his Rubik's cubes that he can make patterns with them at will.

Eliza has taken to photographing Fergus a lot lately. He is typically asleep.

On Saturday, Eliza had an all-day horseback riding event -- a fundraiser for a local family with a Halloween/costume theme. It was a long day but well worth it! Eliza had a lot of fun, and we enjoyed our time at Creekside. Thank you to Sara Kirby and so many others who helped make the day a success for the Lancaster family.

Eliza was number 143. I love you!

These three girls take lessons every week together, and they get a long so well. Eliza is the oldest, but they all are able to learn from each other. It is so fun to watch them learn and improve each week.

We are blessed to have amazing friends in our life. Coach Sarah, Lily, Coach Megan, and Grandma Maygren came to support Eliza. Thank you!!!

Eliza won several awards. We're super impressed, as this was her first competitive event!

Eliza's resource teacher candy-bombed her while she was out. Thanks, Mr. Makin!

Someone was selling sourdough bread, so we bought some. It has a spooky ghost on it! We can't wait to have grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner.

At the Monster Mash horse show there were some fun horse themed treats. Hallie saved one for Eliza.

Here's Eliza with Trainer Sara. We are grateful for her time, patience, and dedication to her students and love to her neighbors.

Poor Fergus was feeling under the weather on Sunday. We hope he didn't eat anything that made him actually ill. Eliza loves taking pictures of Fergus in his fun positions, and Hallie found him at the foot of her bed this morning and thought she would capture the moment.
