2020, October 5-11

We had a pretty low-key week with not too many errands. We're hitting our stride.

On Monday, Hallie, Mike, and Lily went to the university bookstore to get some clothes, and we also got some goodies for the road!

This is Landon's typical start to the weekday. He takes some 45 minutes to finally get downstairs many days. Landon will be so excited to know we posted this one day.

We saw this cool orange car on the road, and it made us think that Coach Sam would like it. Coach Sam's favorite color is orange. Diamond's favorite color is orange too, but she may not find it as cool as Sam.

Hallie has fun at work with the kids in all their varied activities. This was P.E. this last week.

Hallie takes random selfies and sends them to Mike and Eliza during the week. This is her new mask and shirt from Old Navy.

Eliza has taken to sleeping on the floor of Mom and Dad's room a few nights a week. Fergus likes sharing the floor with her. Today, Hallie found her part way under our bed.

We like taking pictures of our stone cold killer. He gave us a bit of a scare this week when something he ate disagreed with him and he had to recuperate. This belly of his is luxurious! Eliza said to Hallie this week, "Isn't it addictive to take pictures of Fergus?"

On Saturday, for our mental health we went up to Salt Lake to do a little shopping, dining out, and spending time together. We even drove up Emigration Canyon (with the intent to go to Ruth's Diner) and saw some fall leaves. We ended up at Chedda Burger on Foothill. The parts of SLC we used to know some 13 years ago sure have changed! Lots of Sugarhouse is barely recognizable. P.S. Hallie even put on some foundation and lipstick to go out, something she doesn't do much anymore as it all rubs off on her masks. Hallie said it felt good to wear fancy shoes, a necklace, and earrings out. This school year we keep it simple. There are some darn cute kids that like to touch everything, and so when Hallie goes to school she keeps it simple.
