We started the month with Eliza's baptism. She had many family members and friends in attendance.
Bishop Bills shared a message.
Coach Marissa spoke as well.
After the ordinance, Eliza got dressed up.
Grandma M. spoke.
And then we celebrated! Landon woke up puking in the morning, so he missed attending, and Mike had to run home to make sure the boy was OK. Poor guy!
We went up to the Bingham Canyon Mine, where Mike's grandpa used to work.
We also had to get some delicious Rockwell Ice Cream on our way back through Provo!
On Sunday, we spent a quiet day at home.
Monday, June 3, had Landon off for a couple of days at a Nebo School District overnight camp with friends.
Hallie took Eliza and our neighbor friends for a girls' treat.
Later in the week, Landon, Lily, Hallie, and Mike trekked up to Dairy Keen in Heber and had shakes and chocolate.
Mike attended BYU's CLASS-Y Day up at Daniels Summit Lodge. Lots of spring beauty all around!
We went to the food trucks in Spanish Fork that evening.
Cat.
Springville's Art City Days included a parade, and our AirTime kids participated with gusto!
After the parade, we went to the carnival by city hall.
On Sunday, the 9th, we went to Grandma and Grandpa M.'s to ride around the nearly-completed home.
Hallie has been looking after the kids of one of our AirTime coaches. Eliza has enjoyed helping out.
We're adding some plant life to brighten up the home.
Eliza and Lily joined Hallie for a cheap Tuesday movie!
Mike had a quick trip to Houston to check up on some of his program's administrative interns and build connections with Aldine Independent School District personnel. He noticed some familiar landmarks heading out from Salt Lake.
Among his activities as he got set to return was a visit to the Museum of Funeral History.
He described it as a transformative experience.
Eliza bit her lip while at practice, and it swelled up a bunch. We were concerned!
Mike managed another view of familiar sights on the way back home.
Eliza had the opportunity to see another of the girls at gym compete at a local rodeo.
She even got to saddle up!
After getting back from his trip, Mike and Landon participated in the ward's father and son's campout.
After Mike got back from the rip, Eliza invited him to go to a secret spot the only the kids in the neighborhood knew about.
More happy cat
We took a Sunday drive up Hobble Creek Canyon.
Someone had left a campfire going, and we put it out. Not 5 miles up the road was the site of a major fire last year. What were these people thinking?
(Apparently a man can't relieve himself in peace these days.)
New week, new excursions!
Landon and the other Young Men watched a ball game mid-week.
On Saturday, we drove out to Mt. Pleasant to check on Grandma and Grandpa O.'s land.
We also played at Grandma and Grandpa M.'s property.
New week, new fun!
A toddler ended up making his way to our neighborhood from several blocks and a major intersection away. Scary!
Eliza has started practicing her hairdo skills on Mom.
Mom has gotten some fancy nails (and a temporary wedding ring from Dad to boot).
Eliza and Adi from gym (finally) built an Easter-themed chocolate cookie house. Better late than never!
Eliza also decided to paint her skateboard. She used many, many coats of paint. . . .
Landon traded Lincoln for a Spider-Man mask. Very pre-Iron Man gifted suit your look is, my boy.
