Cousin Lily stayed in Provo after her family went home so she could attend EFY. She also joined us for bowling. Hallie was the evening's star, outbowling all the rest of us.
Aww, Lily and Chloe!
The kids had a gym camp, which consisted of training in the mornings . . .
. . . and activities in the afternoons.

Eliza continues developing new skills, such as cooking eggs.
The garden struggles along.
Mike has taken up new emblazons of his arms. Here's an imitation of Otto Hupp's work and the same arms on some old painting, plus a mock-up for a patch, all in Photoshop.
And just like that, summer is done, and school has begun. Here are Eliza's new teachers.
And here is Landon's teacher.
Eliza also gets some extra support in the afternoons!
Last little summer bash!
To be honest, the prospect of a new school year is a bit overwhelming. Eliza's moments like this are fleetingly short now.
On the Saturday before school started, the library had a cat-themed activity. We just had to go!
We also went to the Utah County Fair.

Final celebrations as summer dissolves into memory
And then, back to school. We're thrilled. Can't you tell?
Mike got stickers of his arms. Now his and the kids' stuff is getting labeled.
Even Lily has started (pre)school.
We're back to a regular gym schedule.
Must have cookies to make everything sweeter.
Our last big summer activity (technically we're still in summer, right?) was a trip to the Utah Renaissance Faire in Lehi.
Eliza got a fancy new 'do.
Landon slayed dragons.
We learned (and taught) about heraldry.
"Hello, Knight Templar!"
Hangin' with Hank
The twinners in their matching garb
Look at this beauty!
The dad of one of the girls at gym has invited the kids over a couple of times now to visit with the animals he owns and pick fresh fruit and tomatoes. Thanks, Kendall!
