Back at the new normal.
Monday morning after dropping off his rental car and getting a ride back to his apartment, Mike caught the fawns and their mom in the back yard.
He got some wet snow that didn't really stick around.
Hallie saw this adorable puppy after picking Eliza up from Summit one day during the week. Hallie said it looked like a bear cub and was going nuts!
Eliza got to go help Sara Kirby out at Creekside a few afternoons this week. We really appreciate her getting that opportunity.
Hallie and Eliza tried a new pasta place in Provo. Here are their yummy dishes below. Both said they would go back again. Check out
Sportelli's.
We got some snow in Springville too. Hallie just looooves to walk Kai in this weather.
Mike took to the road on Thursday to meet with his superintendent interns up toward Browning and out past Great Falls. All told, he spent lots of hours on the road between 6:00 a.m. Thursday and about 12 noon Friday. He saw a lot of Big Sky Country and not a little ice and snow.
He got back to UM in time to beat the snow. He noticed a couple of academic advisors were decorating Teacher Education Services, and they were thrilled to add some of his paper snowflakes to their decor.
Trees are up, snow is falling, and it all feels cozy. The snow (mostly) turned to rain and didn't really stick on the sidewalks and roads.
Saturday, Landon and Jocie saw Tank the Triceratops at
Fossil Shack in Salem.
That night, Missoula had its annual Holidays on Higgins kick-off. Mike wasn't really in the mood to go by himself, but he went anyway. He looks forward to us all going to things like this together next year and beyond.
Mike got down to the XXXX in time to watch Santa light the town Christmas tree.
Hallie said, "You should get a selfie," so Mike got a selfie.
Eliza commented to Hallie that they are boring while Dad is doing the fun things.
Hallie worked at Starbucks on Sunday. She felt anxious leaving the kids alone for so 7 1/2 hours. When she got home, all was well and everyone survived!
