2022, March 14-20

Spring is in the air. We did a lot of things, but we didn't write about a lot of them. We took several pictures of Fergus, who is clearly the most photogenic member of the family.

Here's his highness regally resting on his royal red throw. Eliza insisted that his posture must be captured.

E had the opportunity to go with Hallie to a hair appointment and made friends with this little puppy. She has also taken on the job of walking our neighbors' dog when they have him (it's a shared arrangement between the neighbors and another family).

We're not kidding about early signs of spring. Mike saw the first signs of some tulips and this forsythia on his walk to class.

Eliza had a rough night this week and needed some cooling down time.

Hallie thought Fergus getting scared at hearing Landon walking down the stairs was hilarious. "Who goes there?!!"

We all wore green on St. Paddy's Day, even if some of us wore it more subtly than others. We tried roasting our cabbage and root veggies. They needed a bit more time, but everything was tasty considering how we were all so on the move this week.

Eliza used her art time to draw a moo-leprechaun emerging from a pot o' gold. No riding this week, as Trainer Sarah is in Jolly Ol' England.

Hallie and Alicia went out Saturday night, and Hallie saw the Y lit up. There has been a fair amount of controversy regarding BYU and LGBTQIA+ folks. We hope common ground can be reached by all involved.

Hallie received some Alabama Sweet Tea in the mail this week, and we had to try it out. It was just about as good as she had it in Texas.

Note the mighty killer's slightly damaged tooth. Glad it was only chipped, but now he does look a bit funny.

Mike enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood in the brisk late winter/early spring air following some rain earlier in the week. He got a nice shot of Mt. Timpanogos north of our neighborhood.

Eliza has taken upon herself to be more responsible for her daily chores. Here's the list she wrote for her morning routine.

And here we have a parting shot of the kitteh. He is truly a spoiled lap cat. Landon was proud to be the chosen one on this day.
