2021, April 26-May 2

We enjoyed warming spring weather. This meant getting outdoors for the a tulip festival, feeding horses, attending a wedding reception, and flying a kite.

With Eliza's help, Mike finished his tree house. Fun fact: The leaves are made from plastic derived from plant sources.

Mike had a conference in Park City on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hallie decided to stay home and do school with Eliza. Some of the iReady work can be challenging, so they sent Mike a screenshot or two of the problems.

Art arrived from Germany. Mike's not sure how he'll frame it, but we'll figure it out.

On Wednesday, Lily, Eliza, Hallie, and Mike went to the annual tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point.

Thursday morning, Eliza had a dentist appointment.

Apparently she bit her numb lip hard after she got home. It swelled up quite a bit. Sad Girl!

With some ice and medicine, it did start getting better. We promise!

On Saturday morning, Hallie went to the Holy Cow Boutique in Lindon.

Eliza went for a little walk and found that some horses were hanging out in the local field. She just had to give them some carrots!

She and Landon had to clean their rooms. Fergus got in on the action when Eliza messed with his bed.

On Saturday evening we attended the wedding reception for a family from Belle Isle Branch up in Alpine. The owners of the home are family to the current branch president. Nice views!

The happy couple! Congratulations!

We caught up with friends from the branch.

Don't smile, Landon

Eliza got some clothes for Fergus at a garage sale. He is a tolerant cat.

Sunday was a perfect day to fly a kite, so Mike took advantage. He had company.
