Playing Catch-up -- Spending Time Having Fun!

So this is another entry where we won't chronicle the last two weeks' events as much as post photos with comments. Long summer days are being spent out playing!

Tuesday, June 12, Mike finally got back from China. Later that day, he gave the kids gifts from his travels. They were most impressed.

Fergus continues his path of terror through the rodent community. He's got a bit of swagger and attitude to him. He's also happy Dad's home again.

World Cup Soccer is a big deal in our home. We were OK with Argentina's tie with Iceland but shocked with their loss to Croatia. Good thing Nigeria kept them in the running. . . .

On Saturday, June 16, we went out to lunch for Father's Day and then fishing at Cabela's. Lincoln joined the party, and we had a mighty fine time!

Mike enjoyed a happy Father's Day with tasty breakfast and heartwarming gifts. He's a lucky guy! Mike finally got the motivation to hang pictures. 3M strips make the job quite easy, to be honest. The pictures do make the house feel more like home.

The big news this last week is that Hallie's parents moved to town on Monday. Woo hoo! We're sure happy to have them so near. Monday afternoon was spent unloading the rental truck and unpacking boxes with more of the same on Tuesday. The kids were real troopers and worked hard to help.

AirTime has posted pictures of the current crop of gymnasts. Our kids look the part!

Some weird little bug hitched a ride on Landon. Mike ushered him out to the front yard.

We got a picture from Diamond and Caleb out in Oklahoma. They're on the job hunt and training in a new job. Diamond will be working on her master's degree at ASU in August.

Yesterday Mike went out to the front yard to capture images of the bees pollinating the bush beneath our living room window. They seem busy and content among the wee fragrant flowers.

Grandma and Grandpa came over for Sunday dinner and a visit. Mike made cheeseburgers on the grill. Yumm-O!
